"I feel stronger, more flexible...Throw those stats out the window in spring training, but overall I feel pretty good.". --Alex Rodriguez
Hey freaks, Alex Rodriguez is back. Now, we just need to make sure Cameron Diaz is in attendance at every home Yankee game this year and A-Rod's about to have a .320/ 52/ 158 season.Sunday, Cameron showed up to Spring training and injury free Alex did not disappoint cranking out a two-run shot to center. Yankees won 10-8. Alex was 1 for 3.
So far this year, Alex Rodriguez is truly Alex Rodriguez. He's hitting .462, (6-for-13) with four doubles. I like what I'm seeing Alex. We all like it.
You don't realize how long Alex hasn't been truly himself because the numbers he's put up the past 2 years are respectable, but they're just not A-Rod. He is one of the most talented ballplayers in history. So seeing him at 100 percent is about to get real good.
It's been almost 2 years since he had hip surgery. A-Rod, for a long time, couldn't go all out on workouts and you sensed in his playing in 2009 and 2010 that he couldn't give it all. Finally this year, he resumed his full workouts.
So, alittle recipe of Diaz love, a fully recovered hip and and a sprinkle of ego and confidence and Mr. Alex Rodriguez is about to tear it up. Thank the good Lord for that.
