Colon kept us in the game for a while and it looked like he was humming through no problem, but then at one point, the fun ended and the runs piled on in the Blue Jays favor.
The 6th inning was the biggest blow for Bartolo Colon and the Yankees. You can sit there and yell that Big Bart sucks now and that he's old and I disagree with that. This guy has guts and he's out there every 5th day pitching his heart out. Tonight was not different. There was 1 bad inning for Colon (other than the first) and it was the 6th. If Curtis Granderson had been in the right spot in the outfield and caught that fly ball for instance, we wouldn't be having this conversation. The Yanks may have still been in the game and Bartolo may have even had a win tonight. The bases wouldn't have cleared, trust me. Baseball is a crazy game though.
The Yankees only had 6 hits all game. Carlos Villanueva, the Blue Jays pitcher did a good job tonight. The Yanks don't do well when they don't know a pitcher too well and it looked like that tonight. Not too good for the lineup we have. We're full of All-Star hitters, we need to hit and we need to score. Jeter was 0-5 tonight, not too good. Posada had opportunities, but nothing happened. Frustrating to say the least.

Granderson was on base a lot due to walks and yes, there were a few singles here and there but we fell flat tonight. It's a loss, that's it. Tomorrow, we win. That's all we have right now. Hell, maybe tomorrow Swisher will be back in the lineup, refreshed and ready to kick ass.
Final Score: Blue Jays 7 - Yankees 3
