Keep A Child Alive 7th Annual Black Ball

Wow! This is a rare opportunity to see the stunning Sade on the red carpet! I nearly fell out of my seat and quickly gasp for air!

I think I actually heard angels singing when I view Sade in this fabulous white chic goddess dress. I normally don't like black heels paired with a white dress but she makes it look so effortless. Her ensemble is sultry and sexy, just like her music.

This is simply unbelievable. Sade is 51 and she is blowing every twenty year old right out of the water!

Alicia Keys and Swizz Beatz are sooo cute together. She is simply glowing in her brocade Dolce & Gabbana strapless dress.

Words can't express how much I hate Beyonce's frizzy atrocious curly hair. Seriously, are you going to tell me she got this mess on top of her head professional done?

I actually think her fuchsia draped Andrew Gn strapless dress is beautiful, but I just can't get pass that hair!

I am totally inspired by Jennifer Hudson to lose some weight(I am not giving up my wine).

She looks beyond fabulous in her black strapless dress. She is on point from head to toe!

It's good to see Whitney Houston smiling and looking healthy. She gained some weight but she still looks great in her black ruffled Fendi dress.

French Vogue's 90th Anniversary Party

Tyra Banks is giving us pure drama in Paris! I always tease Tyra for overposing on the red carpet but this time it was necessary for the French Vogue 90th Anniversary party.

Her mask was actually cheap fishnet stockings she purchase from a boutique in Paris. She paired it with a gorgeous black embellished Roberto Cavalli strapless dress.

I know she may look a little crazy and the fishnet stockings are a little home made but she still looks fierce to me!

WHY THE GHOST OF RUTH LIVES

Things are happening Yankee fans and the team did nothing tonight but get snuggled in their hotel room bed in Boston so they can get ready for the last three games of 2010. The Tampa Bay Rays lost tonight to the Kansas City Royals 3-2. Huge news. The ghost of the Bambino is alive and well and visiting Kansas City apparently. So right now, the Yankees and the Rays are TIED for first place. How exciting is that.

Each team still has three games to go. My money's on the Yankees. Girardi has made it pretty clear today that the Division series is the goal. Sure we want to rest our stars but we don't have that luxury this year. So, what do we need to do? We need to go balls out and win the Division. You know I love that.

My feeling is this, if Girardi is serious about this, a few things need to happen.

1. We can never see Mitre and Gaudin, unless we're losing my 8 runs and we have no shot.

2. Berkman needs to take pitches instead of swinging at the first one all the time. That sweet swing of his can get us some big runs.

3. Cano needs to get in the zone amd stay there. Not only can he win the MVP, but he's been so great all year and he can be the key to winning the division.

4. Home Runs are nice, but the way the Yankees played on Tuesday night when CC pitched was better; small ball, move the runners over. A bloop, THEN a blast.

All these things are important.

I'm going to bed. I'm going to dream about Pettitte going 7 innings. I'm going to dream about Dice-K getting shelled tomorrow night by the 4th inning. I'm going to dream about small ball, good pitching and speed. I'm going to dream about the Bambino giving us alittle help too.

"Life As We Know It" New York Premiere

Katherine Heigl looks absolutely gorgeous in this cranberry pleated David Meister one-shouldered dress paired with pretty silver strappy Rene Caoville sandals.

I also loooove her elegant up-do adorned with a gorgeous brooch. This is one of my favorite look from her.

Variety's 2nd Annual Power Of Women Luncheon

Eva Mendes looks beyond fabulous in this orange and navy striped Salvatore Ferragamo dress. I absolutely loooove this refreshing silhouette.

She completes her look with a white clutch and nude Sergio Rossi heels.

Kerry Washington looks charming in her white sheer overlay Giambattista Valli dress. It's cutesy but yet sophisticated.

Here we go again with the heavy black heels with a delicate dress. Why oh Why?

Dania Ramirez looks absolutely adorable in this black and nude lace Tadashi Shoji dress. I also adore her sexy peep-toe heels.

Sharon Leal usually bore me to tears but this time I am wide awake.

She looks divine in the black and white ensemble. I adore the sexy bandage bodice and full skirt. If you know me, you will also know that I loooove her pop of color red peep-toe heels.

Anne Hathaway is rocking a funky and vibrant Erdem piece. The dress is simply captivating!

This is beyond dreadful. I hated this look on the Louis Vuitton Fall runway and I despise it even more on Katie Holmes!

I dislike the grandma print and the barbie doll silhouette. It's a horrible concept and her hideous black tights are pure tragic with the dress.

WHY CC DESERVES THE CY YOUNG

All week I'm hearing about how King Felix is a lock for the Cy young this year. His 13-12 record, 2.27 ERA and 232 stikeouts are mentioned over and over again. I see what they're saying. But let's make this analysis simple ok?

CC Monster, as I refer to him, is 21-7 this season on a team that has been the the playoffs twice in 2 years that he's been the ace. While his ERA is higher at 3.17 and has less strikeouts, 197, I feel like it really comes down to wins. Did the pitcher give the team more chances to win. CC has 8 more wins on King Felix. That translates to Yankee wins. The Yankees record is 94-65. They are a half game out of first. The Seattle Mariners are in last place in their division, 61 and 97. While Felix has 13 of those wins for the Mariners, it's not enough, if it was, they'd be in 3rd or 2nd, possibly even first.

I understand the basis for their decision making as well. Cy Young is an individual award. So is the MVP. But it's an individual record that is also weighed with team production, isn't it? Shouldn't it be?

Yes, Felix is 1st in ERA and strikeouts. But what else are we reviewing here? Sabathia is 1st in the AL in Wins, and I believe 7th in strikeouts and his ERA is respectable. All I'm saying is it seems like a no brainer to me considering where the teams are in their respective divisions.

And I hate to say it, Jon Lester of the Red Sox has pushed himself into the debate as well. 19-6 with a 2.27 ERA. If you go by my formula he passes Felix as well.

Food for thought but as far as I'm concerned, CC is the man. Here are the stats as of 9/30/2010. Check them out:

Roberto Cavalli 40th Anniversary Party

Heidi Klum looks gorgeous once again in her gold shimmering goddess Roberto Cavalli dress.

The plunged neckline is a bit daring but Heidi is known for taking a risk!

Am I the only one who is not really impress with the designers this season on "Project Runway" besides Mondo and Andy(minus his hideous hammer pants for Jackie O.)? As Michael Kors would say, everyone this season thinks they are a grand couturier. Self absorbed Gretchen totally gets on my nerves and I am delighted that Ivy finally got the ax.

Since my hilarious Casanova is gone, I really don't even have a desire to watch it anymore.

I am truly on the fence about Leona Lewis sherbet tiered Roberto Cavalli dress. It's beyond gaudy and obnoxious but I am just drawn to it like a magnet.

I am struggling here. What do you guys think?

Taylor Swift took the more subtle route unlike Leona in her black rhinestone and pearl Roberto Cavalli dress paired with fantastic Rock & Republic strappy sandals.

I know Tyra Banks is trying to tone it down but this ensemble is just not working for me.

I don't know if it's the Roberto Cavalli leopard jumper or the black school teacher jacket or both?

Senegal-born French Actress Aissa Maiga looks marvelous in her multi colored chain link Roberto Cavalli dress. The colors looks divine against her caramel skin.

Earlier in the day Janet Jackson and her new boyfriend Wissam Al Mana were exercising at the gym in Paris. Well, apparently they didn't have time to change and headed straight to the event.

Come on now Janet, I would wear this boring black ensemble to the grocery store. No wonder she didn't stop for the cameras!

I really never cared for Rachel Bilson red carpet pieces but this time I took notice.

The actress looks sensational in her leopard off -the-shouldered Roberto Cavalli dress.

Aishwarya Rai chose a glitter silver Roberto Cavalli dress. It's a bit too old fashion and dated for my taste. I do however love her electric blue clutch.
